Just returned from Melbourne today! I have officially fallen in love with that city and really want to move there sometime in the future. The culture, fashion, architecture, people and especially the food are soo amazing. I still have a soft spot for Brisbane but Melbourne has definately impressed me. Hope you've all had a great week :)
Big Day Out this weekend yay! still need to find an outfit for it though...

POPPIN POPCORN.

( top:zara mckenna.  shorts: american apparel.  ring: local designer.)

You might be wondering why I'd title this post about popcorn when it has nothing to do with food.
Well. A few hours before this outfit shoot I was attempting to make popcorn over the stove..BIG MISTAKE. For those of you who can cook, this is probably the easiest thing you could make, but for the rest of us who have no skills in cooking what-so-ever (i.e. me), dont try this at home. Leave it for the cinemas.
I added way too many kernals and too little oil that pretty much all my kernals had turned into charcoal. Mum was not impressed either and kept lecturing me on how I needed to put more oil and that I could have burnt the house down etc.etc... was a bit of an eventful afternoon.
Hope you're all having a wonderful friday (yay for weekends!).

p.s. Zara McKenna is an amazing Australian designer that I recently stumbled upon. All her pieces are so unique, feminine and just simply gorgeous! You can check out her beautiful clothing line at: http://zaramckenna.com/

p.p.s I've just made a new facebook page for T.I.P! You can like me by clicking the link on the right hand side of this page :)

HARDEN UP HARDY.

(top:staple. shorts: forever 21. shoes: jeffrey campbell)

This past week has been so crazy with christmas and new years so I havent blogged as much as I would have liked to. In saying that though, it was probably the greatest week to end the year. My family is really big on camping, so for Christmas we decided to have a camping trip at the beautiful coastal town, Mooloolaba. The weather was an absolute dream and so perfect for a day at the beach and a few tanning sessions.
I then headed to Moreton Island for another camping trip with two of my closest friends, for New Years. We really wanted to do something low key and relaxing for NYE instead of going out and starting the new year hungover...so instead we said goodbye to 2011 with a beach bonfire, some malibu, star gazing and a whole lot of dancing and singing!
It was definately the perfect start to 2012 and I hope its been the same for all of you too.
